All of them are gory and brutal! I love them all! Anyone have any favorites?

Probably Sub-zero's in Deadly Alliance, because that was that one and Scorpion's that I could do.

I think my favorite fatality would have to be Sub Zero's half freezing body fatality.
I love how he breaks the lower half of the body, living the opponent begging for mercy and Sub zero decapitating him anyway. Fatality! Death traps in Deception were all awsome as well.

scorpion was great with his harpoon thingy. come 'ere! heehe and that's memories from fourteen years back! oi!

I think that was Frosts not sub-zero unless I'm thinking of a different MK game.

You are thinking of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance. The game that I'm referring to is Mortal Kombat Deception.
It's Sub Zero's second fatality. Before he decapitates the opponent, you can hear him/her screaming in pain.

I love sqcorpians fatality on deadly aliance when thespear he uses is thrown in to you and he ripps off your head! Lol!

From Deadly Alliance, I would have to go with Cyrax's grinding fatality. Torn flesh coming out of his chest! Brutal!
I still think Deception had some of the most brutal fatalities though.

Especially Kara's. Ouch!

And, don't forget the death traps. All of them were brutal and gory.

Post 11 by Shepherdwolf (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Friday, 19-Jun-2009 18:12:21

Deathtraps! Deathtraps! OH my god! Havik going off the edge of the Sky Temple? "Noooooooooo, god this is gonna suck! Gahhhhhh!" ...Ahem, don't mind me, I killed myself laughing the first time I heard that.
A few of my favourite MK fatalities of all time, with reasons:
Cyrax: Grinder, I love the detail, and the churning liquified flesh is nasty!
From Deception: Ermac, curl and burst (do this on Mileena, her scream actually downright scared me the very first time I heard it)
From MK4: Shinok's hand squeeze; some characters (Jarik, Jax) really do sound in pain when they're grunting at the pressure; ouch!
From Deception again: Scorpion's spear rip (first an arm, then a leg, then the begging, then a head-snap I think). Love it.

This qualifies a youtube search, lets see if we can find a video with some fatalaties.

Post 13 by metal angel (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Saturday, 20-Jun-2009 19:12:06

I found some awesome ones! I also love animalitys and brutalitys.
The babalitys and friendships were, um, stupid? Lol!
I love the fan fatality and lucain turning in to the dragon and biting your head off!

Post 14 by Corpse-Grinder (Veteran Zoner) on Sunday, 21-Jun-2009 3:48:56

ShepperdWolf, good fatality choices! Another favorite of mine has to be Milina's fatality when she takes off her vail.
Her evil laugh with blood dripping from her face after she ate her opponent looks creepy.
Oh yeah, Anamalities and brutalities were awsome! Except Scorpion turning into a Penguin and laying an explosive egg. Now that was really stupid.
Friendships and babalities were a mocking reaction to mainstream society that hated MK's Gore. Those finishers might have been stupid, but they served a purpose.

Post 15 by metal angel (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Sunday, 21-Jun-2009 12:59:39

Yah, they made you laugh! And the veil thing was awesome!

Post 16 by Corpse-Grinder (Veteran Zoner) on Sunday, 21-Jun-2009 18:49:03

Definitely!

Post 17 by The Sensible Millennial (I'll stop correcting you when you stop being wrong.) on Monday, 22-Jun-2009 14:14:25

Anybody else find Mellina completely doable even without her veil?
Nah, MK has been a cornerstone to my gaming life since I played it with horrible graphics and crappy sound back in nineteen ninety-three on that beat up old Sega. Those didn't have a lot to offer, but all of the later MK releases did. My favorites probably were the heartless ones from Deception, Scorpean and Subzero being the first that come to mind. "No... NO! PLEASE!"
I think the only ones I actually didn't like were Nube and Smoke. I didn't enjoy their fatalities because whenever I got them done to me, I was always so annoyed that they ganged up on me to get me to the "Finish him" stage. What's their deal anyway? Anybody know why they fight together?
What is amusing though is that if you waist one to the point of "finish him", then do your fatality, the other one just stands there and watches. Kinda messed up.

Noob was the original Sub Zero before he became a wraith. According to the storyline, he captured smoke and programmed him to serve him while he attempted to take over the Netherrealm. That's why they're the sub-bosses in Deception.
As for Milina, when she takes off the vail, it's kind of sick!
And, has anybody played MK Shaolin Monks?

Post 19 by metal angel (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Tuesday, 23-Jun-2009 1:47:17

I'd totaly do malena, and haven't played it yet.

Post 20 by Corpse-Grinder (Veteran Zoner) on Tuesday, 23-Jun-2009 2:11:33

Shaolin Monks also has some of the best fatalities as well. It is a great action adventure game, especially in Co-opt mode.

Post 21 by The Sensible Millennial (I'll stop correcting you when you stop being wrong.) on Tuesday, 23-Jun-2009 16:05:51

I wasn't aware that game was playable by the blind. Don't you have to look at maps and things?

Post 22 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Tuesday, 23-Jun-2009 16:58:34

I have it. Its alright.

Post 23 by metal angel (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Tuesday, 23-Jun-2009 22:13:15

Never played it, might though.

Post 24 by Corpse-Grinder (Veteran Zoner) on Wednesday, 24-Jun-2009 13:23:19

It's awsome! it's MK 2 made into an action adventure game.
